The Robertstown Basketball Club was formed in 1951 and competed in the Mid North Basketball Association.
They transferred into the Barossa & Light Association when the Mid North Football & Basketball Clubs dissolved in 1974 and changed the name to the Robertstown Netball Club.
In that Association the club was reasonably successful in winning premierships, especially the A Grade where they won numerous consecutive premierships.
In 1987, the Robertstown Football Club decided to transfer the Mid Murray Association and the Netball Club followed, mainly to keep the local families together with their winter sport.
