"Councillor Retires"

Denis Keller, a long-time local councillor, announced his retirement at the Regional Council of Goyder's January 2004 meeting, due to ill health.

He was elected to Council on 15th April 1977 and has made a major contribution during this period.

In 1979, he was elected as Deputy Chairman of the District Council of Robertstown and elected Chairman on 15th October 1982.

In 1997, he became the inaugural Chairperson of the amalgamated "Regional Council of Goyder" and held that position until 2003.

Denis's contribution to Council has been appreciated by the Robertstown community and wish him all the best for the future.
